Job summary

Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa seeks an equity-minded Educational Administrator to serve as the Academic Dean, Instructional, overseeing the Technology & Career Education Division. The Dean will join eight other Deans under the Vice President of Instruction and lead a team of faculty and staff dedicated to student success and equity.

The position is on-campus, full-time, with a start in February 2027, offering competitive benefits and a $3,486 annual doctoral stipend for qualified

Qualifications

• Master's degree and leadership experience required.
• Equivalency process is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• Doctorate degree preferred for the position.
• May require a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs instructional programs within the division.
• Oversees curriculum development, staff and budget for the division.
• Provides leadership for faculty and staff development and assessment of courses and outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with district policies and accreditation standards.
• Engages with external partners and four-year transfer institutions to support student success.
