Job summary

CWC seeks a Dean to coordinate and lead the Liberal Arts & Agriculture Division, directing academic programs, faculty, and staff across locations. The role emphasizes strategic planning, budgeting, accreditation preparation, and collaboration with the VPAA and college administrators.

Responsibilities include scheduling classes, ensuring curriculum approval, coordinating assessments, and supporting student recruitment and outcomes while maintaining the college's mission and strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a directly related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in leading and managing as academic department or division in higher education.
• Two years of higher education instructional experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, control and direct division programs and faculty, including committee service and scheduling.
• Review and update catalog material for divisional programs and coordinate advisory committees.
• Develop and manage divisional budget through cost control and regular division meetings.
• Oversee student recruitment, advisement and progress within division.
• Lead curriculum development and ensure alignment with accreditation and assessment processes.
