Qualifikationen

• PhD or terminal degree aligned with the School of Arts & Sciences discipline is required.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, service, and professional development in higher education.
• Extensive knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusive excellence pedagogies to foster belonging for all students, faculty, and staff.
• Minimum of five years of exemplary administrative experience in higher education.
• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage stress with multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Design and complete complex projects with initiative and independence.
• Ability to establish external relationships that strengthen academic programming.

Aufgaben

• Provides collaborative support to Division Chairs and faculty with transparent communication.
• Leads strategic planning for accreditation, curriculum development, enrollment growth and cost efficiency.
• Manages budgets and financial resources of the School and coordinates fiscal planning.
• Develops relationships with corporate and community partners to create internships and grant opportunities.
• Fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across Schools and aligns programs with university priorities.
• Collaborates with Student Affairs to support services and faculty development enhancing student belonging.
• Oversees scheduling, program changes, and integration into the University Catalog and academic standards.
• Mentors faculty for promotion and tenure, and supports professional development and evaluation processes.
• Attends Deans Council and School events to advance the university mission and DEI commitments.
