Job summary

Antelope Valley College seeks a Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, Planning, and Accreditation to provide executive leadership and district-wide oversight for institutional research, data analytics, accreditation, and program review. The role focuses on data integrity, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous improvement across colleges and departments.

The successful candidate will lead forecasting, enrollment management, and reporting, while directing accreditation processes

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in institutional research, statistics, data analytics, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in institutional research, accreditation, or institutional effectiveness in higher education.
• Experience leading college- or district-wide research, planning, accreditation, and innovation initiatives.
• Three years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for institutional research, data analytics, accreditation, and planning initiatives.
• Lead forecasting, enrollment management, and accountability reporting with strategic alignment.
• Oversee accreditation processes, standards compliance, and timelines.
• Ensure state and federal reporting requirements and data governance.
• Direct data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of institutional data.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and analytic tools for transparency and decision-making.
• Advise executive leadership on performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Supervise institutional research staff and manage department budgets and resources.
