Qualifications

• Master’s degree in humanities, social sciences, or mathematics.
• Minimum of three years of academic leadership experience (chair, director, or similar).
• Minimum five years of full-time teaching experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a large college population and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the division including English, Humanities, Fine Arts, Psychology, Sociology, History, Political Science, Economics, Anthropology, and Mathematics.
• Oversee curriculum development, program review, assessment, and accreditation compliance.
• Manage enrollment planning, budgeting, and allocation of divisional resources.
• Promote student success through advising, mentoring, and supportive learning environments.
• Lead and develop department chairs and ensure consistent scheduling and workload practices.
• Engage with community partners and external stakeholders to align programs with workforce needs.
