Fort Hays State University invites inquiries and applications for the Dean of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences (CHBS). The Dean will provide visionary leadership, advance the College and University plans, and collaborate with the Provost and Academic Affairs team.

The appointment is a 12-month academic administrative position with an earliest start date January 2027 and flexibility to July 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Administrative leadership experience within higher education.
• Experience leading teaching, research, and service in a college.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for CHBS aligned with university plans.
• Advocate for faculty and staff; ensure accountability and data-informed decisions.
• Serve on academic and governance bodies and collaborate with Provost and Academic Affairs.
