Job summary

Milan Institute is seeking a Dean of Faculty to lead the academic department, drive strategic goals, and ensure excellence across programs. You will coach and supervise faculty, coordinate curriculum updates, and collaborate with Career Services to maintain high student outcomes.

You will also spearhead faculty training, ensure policy compliance, and manage classroom resources while upholding the institute’s core values and educational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cosmetology license preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the academic department and set strategic goals.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate faculty; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Train faculty on policy and procedures using the faculty manual and guidelines.
• Monitor progress of faculty training and ensure timely completion.
• Provide safety training within the first two weeks of employment.
• Ensure classes are taught by qualified instructors on campus and virtually.
• Lead monthly faculty meetings with an agenda, minutes, and sign-in sheet.
• Conduct employer site visits and ensure curriculum updates are implemented.
• Manage classroom equipment, supplies, and inventory to meet curriculum needs.
