Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in academic administration or instructional capacity, preferably at a post-secondary educational institution.
• Cosmetology or related programs license preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and customer service focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Adaptability to technology and LMS/SIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the academic department, set strategic goals, and ensure educational excellence across programs.
• Oversee faculty development, coaching, and performance management.
• Coordinate with leadership and accreditation bodies to maintain standards.
• Ensure classrooms and facilities meet quality and safety expectations.
• Support, mentor, and communicate curriculum concepts to students and staff.
• Facilitate faculty meetings and ensure timely documentation and reporting.
