Job summary

Uncommon Schools seeks a Deans of Curriculum & Instruction to drive data-informed excellence in teaching across a high-impact campus. You will partner with the Principal and DCIs to deliver rigorous academic experiences and equitable outcomes for scholars.

You will lead professional development, coach teachers, and ensure alignment with Uncommon’s See It-Name It-Do It framework while advancing school-wide data analysis and instructional improvement."

Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth and achievement.
• Demonstrated instructional coaching capabilities that contribute to teacher growth and development.
• Strong content knowledge, across multiple gradespans or content areas.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven instruction by analyzing data and guiding meetings based on daily work samples.
• Plan and deliver professional development and coach teachers to improve instruction.
• Support school-wide data response and instructional initiatives across the network.
• Collaborate with the Principal and other DCIs to set high-leverage goals for ILs.
• Model culture, rigor, and instructional leadership across the school.
