Job summary

Northbridge University seeks a Dean of Academic Affairs to provide the leadership necessary to fulfill the mission, objectives, plans, and goals of the college’s Education Department by planning, organizing, directing, staffing, training, coordinating, motivating, supervising, and evaluating all facets of the school’s Education Department.

Candidate must hold a Master’s in Education from an accredited institution and have a minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a college setting,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a college-level educational setting.
• Patient, empathetic, adaptable, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to new and rapidly changing situations.
• Willingness to work extended hours including evenings and Saturdays.
• Meet or exceed retention goals and attendance targets.
• Develops and maintains the master schedule for all programs and courses.
• Recruits, interviews, and trains faculty and staff.
• Conducts classroom observations and provides orientation and training.
• Oversees administrative duties, records, and accreditation compliance.
