Job summary

Northbridge University is seeking an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the Pembroke Pines campus in Florida. The role oversees all programs and activities supporting student recruitment, education, and retention, and collaborates with the Dean to lead planning, staffing, and evaluation across the campus.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Education and at least 3 years of college teaching experience, with a track record in faculty development, advising, and regulatory

• Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the college level; preferably in the proprietary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Drive student retention, satisfaction, and attendance/engagement goals through structured advising, student services, and consistent communication across modalities.
• Ensure faculty coverage, performance, and development — including hiring, onboarding, biweekly one-on-ones, quarterly classroom observations, and faculty training.
• Provide timely, compliant academic advising for students not meeting SAP.
• Ensure program operations, personnel, facilities, and curriculum comply with state, accreditation, and programmatic regulatory standards.
• Staff meetings with Faculty members; Support the Performance Appraisals Process; People Development (Coaching / Mentoring).

At Northbridge University, we are looking for an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs! The Associate Dean of Academic Affairs is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all the programs and activities that support student recruitment, education, retention, including reentries at the college and the campuses assigned. Provides the leadership necessary to fulfill the mission, objectives, plans and goals of the college. Ensures support services, academic courses in diploma and degree programs at the college meet the needs of faculty, students and the community it serves. Assist the Dean of Academic Affairs in all education and training areas of planning, organizing, directing, staffing, coordinating, motivating, supervising, improving and evaluating all facets of the college’s campus academic department.
