Job summary

The Dean reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and advances interdisciplinary collaboration with STEM and AI initiatives while engaging

Qualifications

• Ph.D. from an accredited institution in Library or Information Science or related discipline.
• Minimum five years of senior administrative leadership in higher education.
• Strong knowledge of scholarly communication and information technologies.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and student success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the School of Library and Information Sciences with a broad strategic vision.
• Set priorities, oversee budgeting, fundraising, and accreditation processes.
• Represent the school within the university and with external stakeholders.
• Advance interdisciplinary collaboration with STEM and AI initiatives.
