Job summary

Broward College seeks a Dean of Health Sciences to provide executive leadership across all levels of the Health Sciences Pathway. The role focuses on planning, organizing, directing, and assessing programs to promote academic achievement, innovation, and growth.

The ideal candidate offers a Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred), 7–10 years of senior management in higher education or healthcare, and an active health-related professional license or certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; Doctorate preferred in Education, Administration, Health Sciences, or closely related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive management/administrative experience in higher education or complex healthcare organization.
• Direct teaching or professional work-related experience in health sciences.
• Active professional license or certification in a healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Promote academic, administrative, and fiscal leadership in accordance with Broward College plans.
• Implement health sciences development initiatives and evaluate trends using workforce data.
• Plan, organize, direct, and assess programs across the Health Sciences Pathway.
• Achieve milestones aligned with Broward College’s mission and strategic initiatives.
