Job summary

Saint Leo University seeks a seasoned Dean of the College of Health Professions to lead strategic growth, enrollment targets, and program development across nursing, social work, and allied health.

The Dean will manage budgets, faculty, and operations, while expanding new MSN direct entry programs, ensuring accreditation standards, and fostering clinical partnerships with health systems nationwide.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree from an accredited institution in Nursing, Public Health, or related health discipline; nursing preferred.
• Substantial senior leadership experience in health professions education and program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and visionary leadership for the College of Health Professions in alignment with the University’s mission, vision, and values.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for health professions, including new program development and enrollment growth across modalities.
• Lead the growth of the MSN direct entry program and expansion of social work programs.
• Establish and steward clinical, corporate, and community partnerships to secure placements and pipeline agreements.
• Oversee accreditation, licensure outcomes, and continuous program improvement.
• Recruit, develop, and retain faculty and staff and manage enrollment, budget, and operations.
