Job summary

Colorado State University seeks a visionary Dean for the College of Health and Human Sciences in Fort Collins. The Dean will serve as chief academic and administrative leader, reporting to the Provost, and guide education, research, outreach, and financial operations to advance human health and well-being.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, fundraising, and building collaborations with alumni and external partners, while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

Terminal doctoral degree in a discipline relevant to the college.
A record of success in academia commensurate with appointment as a tenured full professor at CSU.
Strong academic administrative experience with personnel and fiscal management at the dean/department head level.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for CHHS.
Lead development and implementation of the college’s vision and resource priorities.
Oversee personnel, fiscal, and operational management with stewardship of resources.
Advocate for the college within and outside the university to promote programs and partnerships.
Cultivate partnerships with alumni, donors, industry, and governmental entities to secure support.
