Job summary

Clinton College invites applications for the position of Dean of the School of Business and Professional Studies, starting July 1, 2026. The Dean will design, develop, and execute academic policies and programs, align goals with the College mission, and lead long-range strategic planning to advance curriculum and instructional quality.

The Dean will supervise curriculum development, accreditation readiness, enrollment strategies, and partnerships with accrediting bodies and industry.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with curriculum and accreditation.
• Strong understanding of student success strategies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all academic programs within the School.
• Oversee curriculum development, revision, and assessment.
• Ensure programs meet accreditation standards.
• Monitor enrollment trends and student outcomes.
• Plan, budget, and manage initiatives and projects.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Recruit, retain, and graduate students.
• Develop and implement enrollment growth strategies.
• Identify and develop new academic programs.
• Manage the School's budget.
• Support graduate program development.
• Establish internships and job placement opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations.
• Lead meetings and represent the School.
• Promote programs and achievements.
• Provide reports to the Provost.
