Job summary

Montgomery County Community College seeks a Dean of Business and Professional Studies to lead a division including Accounting, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Education, Hospitality, Management, Marketing, Criminal Justice, and more across Blue Bell and other sites.

You will drive curricular pathways, collaborate with industry and transfer partners, and advance accreditation and program development; travel to campuses and offsite locations will be required; a flexible work option is

Qualifications

Master’s degree in an area represented by the division; doctorate preferred.
Minimum of eight years of progressive administrative/leadership experience.
Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with curriculum/program development and accreditation.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for a division including multiple programs.
Develop clear curricular paths to career and/or transfer and support faculty/staff development.
Serve as liaison with business/industry partners, transfer partners, K-12 educators, government officials, grant agencies, and funders.
Travel between campuses and to offsite locations as part of college-wide responsibilities.
