Job summary

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Dean of Health Sciences. The Dean will provide leadership for a division covering multiple programs and will steer curricular progression to support career and transfer goals.

The role requires travel between campuses and offsite locations, and the Dean will collaborate with clinical agencies, partners, and community stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives and student success.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in discipline represented by the division; doctorate preferred.
Minimum of three years teaching at the collegiate level.
Minimum of eight years progressive administrative management experience.
Knowledge of healthcare issues and accreditation.
Data management and analysis abilities for assessment and planning.
Experience with instructional delivery modalities.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Experience with grants/philanthropy preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the division including Dental Hygiene, Exercise Science & Wellness, Healthcare Professions, Nursing and more.
Travel between Montgomery County Community College campuses and offsite locations.
Serve as liaison with clinical agencies, partners, and government and grant funders.
Support program growth, curricular pathways, and student success goals.
