Job summary

North Dakota State University invites applications for the position of Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The Dean is the chief academic and administrative officer, leading programs, faculty and staff, budget, research and student success efforts, and advocating for the college on campus and beyond.

The Dean reports to the Provost, serves on the Deans Council and President's Leadership Assembly, and will guide the college through its next chapter after the 2023 reorganization.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree from an accredited institution in a discipline represented in the college.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible academic administrative experience.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary collaboration and fundraising in partnership with an institutional foundation or advancement office.
