Job description

Diehl Automotive of Massillon is seeking an immediate opening for a professional Parts Advisor.

Successful candidates will have experience in the retail/wholesale automotive parts industry, be highly motivated, and focused on customer satisfaction. Experience with Kia and Mitsubishi, as well as some familiarity with Tekion, is helpful.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
2. Answer telephone calls and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
3. Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person, or email.
4. Assist customers by answering questions and providing assistance promptly and professionally.
5. Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the counter, work area, and stockroom.
6. Coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service with the Body Shop & Service Team.
7. Order parts from suppliers based on Service Team and customer requests.
8. Receive, unpack, and store parts appropriately for easy access.
9. Verify the quantity and condition of received goods against invoices and purchase orders.
10. Check billing details and ensure charges are accurate.
11. Specify parts accurately in records.
12. Process core returns, warranties, and parts returns as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the retail/wholesale automotive parts industry is helpful.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Focused on customer satisfaction with strong interpersonal skills.
