Job summary

Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA is seeking a Dealership Greeter to provide a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. The role reports to the Sales Management Team and operates in a full-time, non-exempt capacity with a fixed hourly rate.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, guiding them to destinations, updating contacts in systems, and supporting lease-end data collection. This position offers growth potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Familiar with the BMW brand.
• Available for rotating schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with 3+ years clean record.
• Bilingual/multilingual preferred: Armenian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests following Pacific BMW standards.
• Enhance the customer's visit by personalizing interactions.
• Ask whether the client has an appointment and direct them to the destination.
• Use mobile apps and computer software to update contacts.
• Collect data for lease-end appointments.
• Stay up to date with BMWNA features and specs.
• Troubleshoot the BMW iDrive system to assist clients with issues.
• Explain vehicle features and answer questions as needed.
• Train to become a certified BMW Product Genius.
• Thank clients for their business and inquire about visit satisfaction.

Salary Range: $18.50 To $20.00 Hourly

Pacific BMW is hiring a showroom Greeter to provide a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks into the dealership. This position reports to the Sales Management Team. The Sales Department Hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-9pm & Saturday 9am-7pm & Sunday 10am-6pm. This is a full-time, non-exempt, 40-hour position paying $18.50 per hour, non-negotiable and non-commission-based.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience and/or hospitality, preferably in the auto industry
• Familiarity and passion for the BMW brand
• Availability to work in a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays
• Current driver's license with at least three years of a clean driving record (no points)
• Bilingual/Multilingual is preferred: Armenian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Spanish

Job-Specific Duties Include

• Proactively acknowledge and engage all guests visiting the Dealership following Pacific BMW’s standards
• Enhance the customer's visit by personalizing each interaction

• Use all available technology, including mobile applications and computer software to update contacts
• Collect data for lease-end appointments
• Keep up to date with the new available products, features and specifications per BMWNA
• Troubleshoot the BMW iDrive system to assist clients with issues
• Explain vehicle features and answer questions as needed
• Train to become a certified BMW Product Genius
• Thank all clients for their business and inquire about their visit satisfaction

Physical Requirements

• Surroundings: position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and walk throughout the company facility for most of the shift in air-conditioned areas
• Infrequently: Bending, twisting and/or stooping, Kneeling and/or squatting, climbing stairs, lifting, reaching and/or lifting overhead, pulling and pushing
• Regularly: grabbing with hands
