Job summary

Office Environments of New England, LLC is seeking a Furniture Dealership Designer to design, plan and specify office furniture solutions. You will work with sales and clients to develop concepts, perform site verifications, create space plans, and produce finished working drawings and specifications for installation.

The role requires 5+ years in furniture/office/space planning, and proficiency in AutoCAD, CET or Revit, with strong detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of furniture/office/space planning experience.
• BS/BA/BFA in Interior, Industrial or Architectural Design.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, CET or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develops furniture solutions with sales and clients for project needs.
• Attends planning meetings and presents concepts for review and approval.
• Reviews site, conducts field measurements and plan-to-site checks.
• Verifies existing inventory and produces as-built drawings/specifications.
• Conducts programming by interviewing customers and produces reports.
• Develops and presents block/space plans and finishes/material selections.
• Produces installation drawings and verifies plans against construction drawings.
• Manages changes and revisions; may conduct field reviews with PMs and crew.
