Job summary

Southeast Support Services is seeking a Business Manager/Controller for Collierville Chevrolet Buick GMC powered by Lithia. You will oversee dealership finances, close monthly books, and maintain schedules while leading a small accounting team.

The role emphasizes internal controls, fraud prevention, and reliable reporting. Bachelor’s in accounting/finance or 3+ years of dealership experience are required, with strong leadership and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or 3+ years of dealership accounting experience.
• Experience in team leadership and the auto industry preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting processes, reconciliation, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dealership financial records and accurate month-end closings.
• Review general ledger schedules and ensure compliance with LAD policies.
• Monitor income statements, conduct fraud prevention reviews, and uphold internal controls.
• Oversee accounts receivable, daily bank postings, and bank reconciliations.
• Review or prepare payroll and accounts payable for accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct physical vehicle inventories, reconcile parts inventory, and support fixed asset reporting.
• Resolve inbound/outbound vehicle documentation issues.
• Partner with dealership leadership (GM) and manage 2–10 staff, supporting hiring and training.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, warranty claims, and reporting requirements.
• Participate in budgeting up to $8MM and support stores with up to $200MM in revenue.
