Job summary

Hiller Ford Inc. is seeking a Dealer Trade Driver to safely transport vehicles between dealerships and locations across the region. The role involves local and long-distance trips, delivering parts and documents, and maintaining vehicle condition and logs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong time-management skills and punctuality.

• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Previous driving experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport new and used vehicles between dealerships and designated locations.
• Drive both locally and long distances to deliver and pick up vehicles.
• Deliver and pick up parts, supplies, and documents as needed.
• Follow assigned routes and meet delivery and pickup deadlines.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicles.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, delays, or other issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, deliveries, and vehicle inspections.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and applicable safety regulations.
• Provide courteous and professional service to dealership staff, customers, and business partners.
• Communicate effectively with the Commercial Fleet Department regarding assignments and scheduling.
