Job summary

TrueCar, Inc. is seeking a Sales Operations Director to lead the operational backbone of Dealer Sales and Performance Management. You will own programs from design through rollout, ensure timely landing, and drive dealer engagement and motivation.

The role connects HQ to the field, with responsibility for onboarding/offboarding, communications, and quarterly KPI setting. The ideal candidate will build a team over time and partner across Finance, HR, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading and developing a Sales Operations team.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach individuals, and continuously improve business processes.
• Track record of designing and running incentive, rewards, or recognition programs.
• Strong ability to set measurable goals and build the reporting to track them.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all Dealer Sales & Performance programs end-to-end.
• Lead dealer marketing efforts that support sales, engagement, and retention objectives.
• Develop and execute a Dealer Rewards Program with budget, communication, and results measurement.
• Develop and execute a President's Award recognition program with nominations and criteria.
• Manage the full lifecycle of programs—from planning to post-program review.
• Stand up and lead a Dealer Advisory Board and coordinate engagement.
• Own communication and relationship management with Board members.
