Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking a Dealer Analyst to support dealership parts managers via phone and email, resolving claims and processing credits while ensuring dealer compliance with PSG policies.

You will manage parts availability, pricing, and returns, monitor multiple mailboxes, and respond to dealer inquiries. Travel and overtime may be required in this office-based role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Proficiency with customer service tools.
  • Moderate problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle moderate caseloads.

Responsibilities

  • Parts ordering (availability, pricing, color code, etc.); order status & maintenance; parts returns requirements; missing dealer credits; core return & credits
  • Daily monitoring of the 9 PC OAR mailboxes and take necessary action, processing manual OAR claims, investigate dealer rejection disputes - Review QFG Pictures, Dealer Pictures, and Carrier Delivery Receipt Documentation
  • Inbound ACD coverage - answer incoming calls, research and respond to internal and external customers, and support group efforts for effective phone coverage.
  • Identification and resolution of publication and parts error.
  • Dealer communication regarding Parts Quality and Manufacturing Related Issues; Inflator Warranty Claim Errors Resolution; Campaign Parts Recall Dealer Inquiries
  • Coordinate group concerns and assist dealers with complex technical questions regarding quality control, customer orders, and stock checks.

Job Purpose

The Dealer Analyst position is a customer support position for dealership parts managers, helping dealers through phone and email contacts. The Dealer Analyst is responsible for the research and resolution to parts related inquiries from Auto (Honda & Acura), PSP, Power Equipment, and Marine dealerships. The position is responsible for not only outstanding customer service to dealers, accurate processing of claims, and timely feedback to dealers on credit issues but also supporting our internal DPSM’s field operations and ensuring dealer compliance with Parts System Guide (PSG) policies.

Key Accountabilities

Decisions Expected

Through stock checks verify Parts quality or damage free condition in AHM inventory against Dealer Claims. Determine if Parts technical issue requires a tech memo or is just a one-time situation. Determine if documents support/prove the return of a part, so credit is given to the dealer. Determine when to reach out to other departments for information that support a unique question or situation. Credit / Debit authorization for dealers under $1000

Working Conditions

This position will require the candidate to work in an Office environment. Overtime will be on as needed basis as required by the workload. Travel as necessary.
