F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to support sales across regions in deal structuring, pricing, and contract reviews. You will ensure quotes align with policy and licensing models, acting as the primary liaison between Sales, Finance, Legal and Product teams to drive compliant and efficient deals.

You will deliver data-driven recommendations, monitor discounting practices, and help increase deal velocity while maintaining compliance and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience reviewing deal structures in Sales Ops or related roles.
  • Experience with pricing, discounting guidance and quotes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day quoting, pricing approvals and analysis.
  • Provide and enforce discounting guidance to Sales teams.
  • Ensure quotes adhere to licensing guidelines and policies.
  • Manage service levels for discounted pricing requests.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure KPI transparency for sales reporting.
  • Study historical pricing trends for deal reviews.
  • Drive deal velocity and remove roadblocks to close business.

This role will be responsible for supporting sales teams throughout different geographic regions in deal structuring, pricing and contract reviews.This role will provide expert knowledge of new product offerings, services, support, licensing programs and best practices to the sales organizations to increase sales and revenue. This role is expected to make key decisions with/without input from the management team and provide recommendations and breakdown complex situations to sales leaders using analytics.This position will act as the primary liaison between the sales teams and other departments including (but not limited to) Professional Services, Channel, Finance, Product Management, Product Development, Commercial Models, Legal and the executive team to ensure deals are structured and negotiated properly while complying with F5 policies and procedures. **Major Responsibilities:** * Manage day-to-day quoting, pricing approvals and analysis* Provide and enforce discounting guidance to Sales teams on all active and pending quotes across multiple regions* Ensure that sales and negotiation strategies adhere to established guidelines and policies, and maintains solid understanding of F5 licensing* Manage to a set service level agreement on all incoming discounted pricing requests* Partner with Finance to ensure consistency and transparency with the key performance metrics for sales reporting* Study historical product pricing trends as part of larger deal reviews* Identify and implement new, meaningful methods for deal reviews, deal scoring, and approval process* Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies* Manage specific projects and provide updates to Sales Ops Leadership* Focused on assigned task that supports the Sales Process, improving deal velocity and removing roadblocks to close business* Provides clear and timely communication within HQ teams as well as Theatre Sales teams* Able to understand the ‘voice of the field’ and “voice of the customer” and represent that back to the operations team to drive programmatic improvements **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively* Intermediate computer skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word* Intermediate Experience with CRM systems preferred (SFDC & Tableau)* Intermediate understanding of Channel, Direct Sales Processes and Programs* Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills* Ability to juggle, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment* Creative thinker and a self-starter* Very organized and detail oriented* Can conduct independent research* Increased ability to draw concise, well supported recommendations based on detailed analysis of the given issue* Customer excellence mentality* Ability in handling the stress and problem-solving ability* Intermediate understanding of cross-functional departments* Self-starter and can work with limited direction* Ability to speak and write in Spanish is a plus **Qualifications:** * BA/BS Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field preferred* A minimum of 3-year relevant experience reviewing deal structures, within Sales Operations, or comparative roles supporting a sales organization **Physical Demands and Work Environment:** * Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table* Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material* Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)* Must be willing to work extended hours during end of quarters* Job may require occasional domestic and/or international travel #LI-EM1#LI-HybridThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
