We take pride in our ability to adapt, accelerate, and consistently exceed expectations. A key function within Sales Operations is the Deal Desk—a strategic team focused on enabling healthy, long-term customer relationships through compliant and financially sound deal structures, while minimizing obstacles that hinder seller productivity.

Your Impact

As a Deal Desk Senior, you will serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging deep subject matter expertise and strategic insight to shape complex deal structures. You will play a critical role in driving scalable growth, optimizing deal velocity, and ensuring alignment with PTC’s financial and operational goals. This role requires a proactive, analytical, and collaborative professional who can influence decision-making, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor others in best practices. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and are passionate about driving business outcomes, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Deal Architecture: Lead the design and execution of complex, high-value deal structures that support long‑term customer success and company growth. Partner with sales leadership to align deal strategy with business objectives, including ARR growth, cash flow optimization, and churn reduction. Ensure adherence to company policies, revenue recognition standards, and pricing governance. Provide strategic guidance on commercial terms, pricing models, and contract structures. Analyze deal trends and performance data to inform future deal strategy and policy evolution.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Act as a senior liaison across Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations to ensure alignment and transparency in deal execution. Drive cross‑functional collaboration and facilitate resolution of complex deal‑related issues. Represent the Deal Desk in strategic planning sessions and process improvement initiatives. Advocate for scalable solutions that reduce friction and improve seller productivity.
  • Operational Excellence & Enablement: Ensure accuracy and completeness of Salesforce (SFDC) data and deal documentation. Lead the development and delivery of enablement programs for sellers and internal stakeholders on deal desk processes and best practices. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance deal velocity and compliance. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of Deal Desk operations.
Core Competencies

  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficient in analyzing data to drive insights and decision‑making.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, or a related field, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise sales environment.
  • Proven experience supporting or partnering with Sales or Services organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across global teams and cultures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce; experience with CPQ tools is a plus.
Personal Attributes
  • Strategic mindset with a bias for action.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions‑oriented attitude.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Committed to continuous learning and process improvement.
