South Central Los Angeles Regional Center seeks a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community Coordinator to support expansion of deaf service resources, provide training to regional center staff, and coordinate with DDS on statewide efforts. This role will serve as the subject matter expert on services to the Deaf and hard of hearing community with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited college.
- Two years’ experience in providing program support with individuals with developmental delay.
- Fluency in American Sign Language required.
Responsabilités
- Liaise with agencies providing services for deaf and hard of hearing.
- Expand the regional center’s resource pool with vendors and service providers.
- Serve as resource person for service coordinators working with deaf individuals.
- Assess unmet community needs and lead resource development.
- Collaborate with DDS and other regional centers to identify best practices.
- Organize trainings and develop informational materials for staff and vendors.
- Ensure communication assessments inform individual program plans.
