Job summary

St. John is seeking an experienced recruiter in Newark, DE to partner with hiring managers, source candidates, and drive the full recruiting cycle.

You will screen candidates by phone or in person, coordinate interviews, and extend offers while using Paycom to track progress. Responsibilities include building a diverse talent pipeline, managing transfers, maintaining compliance, and ensuring timely feedback to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
• Source resumes and applications, conduct screening interviews, and schedule interviews.
• Administer assessments, check references, and deliver offers.
• Identify candidates via career fairs, events, online platforms, and social media.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
• Manage internal transfers including interviews and letters.
• Use Paycom ATS to manage candidates' progress.
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers for feedback.
• Develop relationships with clients to achieve staffing goals.
• Communicate employment terms during offers (benefits, compensation, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, including affirmative action.
• Manage files and retention per company policy.
• Maintain memberships with trade/professional organizations.

Your overall essential responsibilities will be the following

• Partners with hiring manager and staffing coordinators to determine staffing needs.
• Source resumes and job applications, conduct screening interviews of candidates by phone, in teams, or in person, and schedule interviews with the hiring manager.
• Administer appropriate assessments, check references, make recommendations for hire, and deliver employment offers.
• Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, job fairs, community network events, online platforms, social media, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
• Builds and maintains a strong candidate pipeline for current and future job openings.
• Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
• Utilizes Paycom’s applicant tracking system to manage candidates’ progress and activity.
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting process and status.
• Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure the achievement of staffing goals.
• Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
• Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
• Manages application and resume files and retention according to company policy.
