Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking a DDC Controls Installation Technician to join our operations team. You will install DDC systems in commercial and industrial facilities, ensure proper wiring, and support startup and commissioning activities.

The role requires hands-on installation experience, the ability to read wiring diagrams, and adherence to safety standards. A valid driver's license and strong teamwork are essential for field projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HVAC, electrical, or controls installation; prior DDC/building automation installation preferred.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install DDC control panels, conduit, field devices, sensors, actuators, and network cabling per drawings.
• Pull, terminate, and label control wiring per standards.
• Assist in mounting and connecting controllers, relays, and other hardware.
• Perform point-to-point checkout of installed devices for proper operation.
• Support commissioning during system startup, testing, and verification.
• Coordinate with Site Superintendent and Senior Installers for project execution.
• Record installation progress, material usage, and as-built changes.
