Job summary

Terros Health seeks a DCS Stabilization Specialist to support foster care families and QRTPs, reducing crises that jeopardize placements. The role involves crisis response, care coordination, and collaborative planning with DCS and GH teams.

Responsibilities include developing service and crisis plans, attending CFTs, and guiding families through stabilization strategies, with a 40-hour week aligned to school hours and some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

  • GED/HS diploma or higher and 1.5+ years in behavioral health.
  • CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of start.
  • Arizona driver’s license, 21+ with 4+ years driving experience.
  • Fingerprints clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Complete weekly planned interventions and attend CFTs as scheduled.
  • Respond to crisis calls to support DCS custody individuals and families.
  • Develop individual service plans and crisis prevention plans.
  • Coordinate care with DCS Case managers and QRTPs.

We help people manage addiction and mental illness, provide primary medical care, restore families, support our veterans, and connect individuals to the care they need.If you are interested in working for one of the State's Leading Healthcare Organizations that promotes Integrity, Compassion, and Empowerment, we encourage you to apply!HOPE ~ HEALTH ~ HEALINGTerros Health is looking for a professional and energetic DCS Stabilization Specialist, for the East or West Valley community!Full-Time 40 hoursShift: Monday - Friday 9:30am-6:00pmWork day is scheduled around school hours, afterschool programs, with one weekend day and evening shift required.GED/High school diploma with a minimum of 1.5 years of behavioral health experiencePreferred DCS experienceBilingual in Spanish is a PLUS (Additional Language Differential is Available)This individual is responsible for completing weekly planned interventions, attend CFT’s as scheduled and responding to crisis calls aimed to support individuals in DCS custody at risk of disruption, and support their families and caregivers. Staff will assist with developing: individual service plans, emergency contact sheet and at risk crisis plans. Staff utilize person centered planning; positive behavior support and Love and Logic parenting techniques.
