CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Process Control Engineer to lead development, implementation, and maintenance of DCS-based controls and APC applications to improve unit performance and safety at its Corpus Christi operations. You will support alarm management, HMI graphics, and training across Operations and Process Engineering.

The role requires a chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering background with 2+ years in process control, strong communication, and ability to work in a

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience in process control in chemical/refining or similar industry.
• Understanding of process control theory, practices and techniques.
• Good verbal and written communication at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PI preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and maintain baselevel (DCS) control schemes to improve unit stability, environmental compliance and safety; troubleshoot and document schemes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain APC applications to improve profitability and optimization; test and commission them and train staff.
• Support Operations with effective controls and HMIs; adopt suggestions to improve system performance.
• Assist System Manager and Analysts with system/software upgrades and preventive maintenance.
• Support capital and turnarounds; plan, justify, and implement control strategies; coordinate resources and provide operator training.
