Job summary

TotalEnergies Group in Port Arthur is seeking an experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to administer and optimize the refinery DCS, data historians, and real-time environmental calculations. You will coordinate with Central Control Operators, Unit Supervisors, and Engineers to ensure safety, environmental and mechanical integrity across process units.

Qualifications

• BS/BE in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Control Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial process control, DCS/SIS, instrumentation, PCs and networks.
• Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, TDC-3000/2000, and Honeywell PHD/OSI PI data historians.

Responsibilities

• Monitor DCS and Historians performance and troubleshoot view/control issues.
• Collaborate with control room staff and engineers to improve unit performance within safety and mechanical integrity boundaries.
• Support capital projects ensuring DCS compatibility and upgrades.
• Provide data and participate in incident investigations related to controls.
• Ensure cyber-security and backup strategies for DCS assets.
