Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to join the HyCO group in a hybrid role based in Baton Rouge, LA, with flexibility for Geismar or Gonzales.

You will support DCS/SIS/PLC, instrumentation, and cybersecurity across hydrogen production facilities and related assets. The position emphasizes lifecycle management, project support, and collaboration with site staff, with local travel and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field with 10 years of experience preferred.
• Experience with DCS/PLC control systems and plant instrumentation widely desirable.
• Proven ability to manage lifecycle support for control systems and perform upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Provide process control systems engineering support for HyCO production facilities in the Baton Rouge/Geismar area.
• Support SMR hydrogen and CO production sites, offgas purification, and hydrogen pipeline assets.
