Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Manager, DCIM to lead a team of engineers responsible for EPMS and BMS. The role requires strategic thinking, planning, and effective leadership by influence, with a background in electrical/mechanical systems and large-scale data centers.

The candidate will drive deployment schedules, SOPs, budgeting, and vendor management while ensuring high availability and cost efficiency across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and equivalent experience.
• Ten or more years in monitoring/control systems for critical facilities.
• Three+ years in management leading engineering or operations teams.
• Proficient with BMS and EPMS systems and power distribution in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment planning and ensure QA/SOP adherence for services.
• Train DCIM Engineers on SOPs, requirements, and best practices.
• Monitor deployments to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
• Lead cost-control, budgeting, and project efficiency initiatives.
• Direct vendors and manage contracts under SBOM/Scope of Work.
• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise BMS/EPMS standards.
