Job summary

Dakota Connection Casino in Sisseton, SD is seeking a facilities maintenance worker to uphold the safety and upkeep of the facility. The role includes grounds maintenance, snow removal, and inspecting and repairing building elements as directed by supervision.

Responsibilities also include inventory assistance, reporting issues promptly, maintaining a clean appearance, and completing duties on a shift checklist.

• Responsible for the upkeep and safety of the facility.
• General grounds maintenance; mowing and snow removal.
• Inspects, maintains, and repairs floors, walls, ceiling, doors, and windows as instructed by the supervisor.
• Assists supervisor in inventory of equipment and tools.
• Reports any problems involving the upkeep of the facility and grounds to supervisor.
• Friendly, courteous, and helpful to customers.
• Clean and neat while doing duties assigned.
• Cleans up material and excess when completing a job.
• All duties will be monitored with a check-off list at the end of the employees’ shift, to be verified by the supervisor.
• Will be responsible for porter duties when the maintenance tasks are complete.
• Regular attendance is essential function of the job, must be very dependable.
• Complies with other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Facilities Manager, and/or General Manager.
