Michaels is seeking a Department Manager for the Distribution Center in the Dallas area to lead operations, ensure safety and accuracy, and drive inventory control. You will coordinate team efforts, provide coaching, and align with leadership to meet business goals.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple shifts including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma is required, with a college degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Leadership experience in supervisory roles preferred.
• Experience with WMS and LMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute plans to meet operational objectives.
• Ensure SOPs and regulatory guidelines are followed.
• Identify and resolve production/communication issues.
• Implement processes for accurate inventory and delivery.
• Interview, onboard and train team members.
• Provide tools/resources for performance and business goals.
• Grow and develop direct reports.

• Address performance and conduct issues with HR support.
