Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the order processing team in our distribution center. You will manage payroll figures, budgeting, productivity, and team evaluations while maintaining high morale and strong customer service standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a supervisory role, strong leadership and communication skills, bilingual Spanish is a plus, and a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the order processing department.
• Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations managers on payroll, budgeting, and productivity.
• Deliver timely, quality evaluations for team members.
• Provide leadership, training, and morale-boosting guidance.
• Plan annual goals with the DC manager and budget accordingly.
• Assist HR with recruiting and training practices.
• Prepare annual capital expenditure listings for budgeting.
• Approve department expenditures with the DC manager.
• Maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices.
• Perform All other duties as assigned.

Compensation Pay Range: $59,161.00 - $88,741.00 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsible for directing the day-to-day outbound operations of the order processing department within a distribution center.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Oversee all aspects of the order processing department.
• Assist in ensuring that the department is compliant with company operations, policies, and procedures daily.
• Work with the operations managers and DC managers to maintain payroll figures, budgeting, productivity, etc.
• Responsible for team member evaluations being written and delivered in a timely manner.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance throughout the department and work to ensure productivity and morale are maintained at a high level.
• Work with the Operations and DC manager to establish annual goals and the plan to follow for accomplishing these goals.
• Work closely with the Human Resources Supervisor and the Operations Manager to ensure effective recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
• Assist the operations and DC managers with planning to prepare annual capital expenditure listing for budgeting purposes.
• Work with the DC manager for approval on any expenditure for the department.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must be able to multitask and work well in a team environment
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
• Desired: College degree or logistics certification
• 2+ years previous experience in a supervisor role
• Advanced computer skills
• Completion of the O’Reilly supervisor training program
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
