Job summary

Maersk is seeking a logistics solutions architect to design optimal distribution center layouts and operation solutions aligned with business needs, SLA targets, and cost constraints. The role includes financial evaluation, data analysis, and presenting CAD-based demonstrations to stakeholders.

You will explore the latest logistics technologies, assess investments for cost savings, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver implementable solutions that improve efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Logistics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent.
• At least 3 years or above logistics related working experience, at least 1 year focus on solution design.
• Working experience in logistics consulting company or 3PL will is an advantage.
• Working experience in supply chain design or transportation/courier management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design the optimum DC layout and operation solution based on business requirements, meet SLA and stay within cost budget.
• Compare and evaluate different solutions from a financial perspective.
• Conduct data collection and analysis, present solution via CAD and PPT.
• Internal communication of the solution and presentation to customers if needed.
• Survey on latest logistics technology and implement to the solution.
• Plan and recommend investments that achieve sustainable cost savings and process efficiency improvements.
