Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a DC slotting coordinator to maximize distribution efficiency through item placement and analysis. The role operates 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with occasional night shift visits and a pay rate of $22/hr.

You will manage inbound items, serve as the slotting SME, and coordinate with procurement to resolve dimensional issues. Minimum high school diploma or GED is required; MHE certification and selector experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Attendance is required and expectations are set.
• General Equivalency Diploma and high school diplomas are acceptable qualifications for the role.
• Initiative, productivity, quality and safety are emphasized in this position.
• Shift availability for 1st shift in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage unslotted, inbound items daily.
• Serve as the Site SME for slotting products in the DC.
• Maintain quality and regulatory compliance (OSHA, GMP, flammability, etc.).
• Balance efficiencies across receiving and shipping to maximize DC capacity.
• Collaborate with Site Leadership to drive productivity and safety.
• Generate and execute location planning, distro/allocation, and forecasting.
• Monitor discrepancies between systems and reality and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement to manage product dimensional issues.
