Job summary

Airgas is hiring a DC Shipping Supervisor in Levittown, PA to oversee outbound shipping, ensure on-time processing of PPE and safety products, and enforce Airgas safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 2–5 years of progressive DC/warehouse leadership experience, with focus on high-volume outbound shipping.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP/WMS) and Google Workspace.
• Forklift operator certification required; DOT/Hazmat shipping certification preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs and operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day outbound shipping workflows, order verification, staging, and carrier dispatching.
• Supervise, train, and coach a team of shipping associates and material handlers; manage scheduling and productivity metrics.
• Drive a Safety First culture; ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, and Airgas SAFECORE compliance and lead safety trainings.
• Audit outbound orders and track inventory accuracy using SAP/WMS; resolve exceptions.
• Coordinate daily carrier pick-ups and manage hazardous materials shipping protocols where applicable.
• Oversee dock equipment maintenance and maintain a hazard-free dock area.
