Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a DC Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives at our Distribution Center. You will train teams, investigate incidents, analyze injury trends, and drive continuous safety improvements across the DC and regional operations.

The role requires an associate degree in OH&S or related field, 1–2 years in safety or loss prevention, and strong leadership skills. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. AutoZone offers competitive pay and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Spanish fluency a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in Loss Prevention or OH&S.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.
• Passion for safety and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Training Programs: new hire safety training, refresher courses, and post-incident retraining.
• Investigate and implement corrective actions for accidents and injuries.
• Analyze injury trend data to reduce incidents.
• Serve as safety expert for DC and regions, with reports.
• Perform facility inspections and lead safety initiatives.
• Support security operations and fire prevention programs.
• Collaborate with regional staff and store managers on safety strategies.
• Lead safety-related projects from development to evaluation.
