Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a driver capable of operating a Class 8 tractor-trailer to ensure safe and timely deliveries to store locations across Georgia. You will load and unload with electric pallet jacks, follow strict routes and schedules, and perform daily vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules.

Applicants must hold a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, maintain a clean driving record, pass pre-employment and random drug tests, and be able to work a flexible

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status; pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement and be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
• Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.
• Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.

Potential first year earnings of $77,123.88 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
