Job summary

Rust-Oleum is seeking a Warehouse Associate to stock, organize, and manage order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, accurate inventory handling, and adherence to quality standards.

You will keep flow racks stocked, verify product condition, and communicate with leads and inventory control to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment. This position demands attention to detail and strong teamwork in a physical, warehouse setting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year stand-up forklift operation experience.
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse, pick and pack operation experience preferred.
  • Prior inventory experience strongly preferred.

  • Stock items needed for completed orders received that day.
  • Maintain neat, orderly and well stocked flow racks and reserve locations.
  • Ensure that all products are in sellable condition and defective parts are removed.
  • Check flow racks continuously and inform lead or Manager about defective products and low counts.
  • Identify, remove and segregate any defective products per Quality Control directives.
  • Complete paperwork neatly and legibly.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with leads, inventory control and Manager.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment using the correct tools properly.

Job description

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Stock items needed for completed orders received that day. These items are stocked first.
  • Maintain neat, orderly and well stocked flow racks and reserve locations.
  • Ensure that all products are in sellable condition and defective parts are removed.
  • Check flow racks continuously and inform lead or Manager about defective products and low counts.
  • Identify, remove and segregate any defective products directed by Quality Control.
  • Complete paperwork neatly and legibly.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with leads, inventory control and Manager.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment using the correct tools properly.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Employee operates stand-up and sit-down fork lifts about 80% to 90% of their work shift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter in a normal warehouse environment with exposure to both heat and cold. The noise level is usually moderate.
