Job summary

RPM SPG in Hudson, NC is seeking a warehouse associate to support order fulfillment and inventory processes. You will stock, pick, and pack items for daily orders while maintaining orderly flow racks and accurate paperwork.

The role requires basic math, reading comprehension, and 1 year or more of warehouse experience. Stand-up forklift operation is expected; safety and communication are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Stock items needed for orders received that day and prioritize accordingly.
  • Maintain neat, orderly flow racks and reserve locations.
  • Ensure products are sellable; remove defective parts as directed.
  • Monitor flow racks and report low counts to leadership.
  • Identify and segregate defective products per Quality Control.
  • Complete paperwork neatly and legibly.
  • Communicate effectively with leads, inventory control, and Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment using proper tools.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Stock items needed for completed orders received that day. These items are stocked first.
  • Maintain neat, orderly and well stocked flow racks and reserve locations.
  • Ensure that all products are in sellable condition and defective parts are removed.
  • Check flow racks continuously and inform lead or Manager about defective products and low counts.
  • Identify, remove and segregate any defective products directed by Quality Control.
  • Complete paperwork neatly and legibly.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with leads, inventory control and Manager.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment using the correct tools properly.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter in a normal warehouse environment with exposure to both heat and cold. The noise level is usually moderate.
