Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in North Carolina is seeking a warehouse associate to support order fulfillment and inventory control. The role requires standing, lifting up to 45 pounds, forklift operation, and attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will stock, organize flow racks, process paperwork, and communicate with leads and management to ensure accurate inventory and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Minimum 1 year stand-up forklift operation.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse, pick and pack experience preferred.
• Ability to identify products by item markings and read stock reports.

Responsibilities

• Stock items needed for completed orders received that day.
• Maintain neat, orderly flow racks and reserve locations.
• Ensure products are sellable and defective parts are removed.
• Check flow racks continuously and inform lead or Manager about defective products and low counts.
• Identify, remove and segregate any defective products directed by Quality Control.
• Complete paperwork neatly and legibly.
• Communicate effectively and accurately with leads, inventory control and Manager.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment using the correct tools properly.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Stock items needed for completed orders received that day. These items are stocked first.
• Maintain neat, orderly and well stocked flow racks and reserve locations.
• Ensure that all products are in sellable condition and defective parts are removed.
• Check flow racks continuously and inform lead or Manager about defective products and low counts.
• Identify, remove and segregate any defective products directed by Quality Control.
• Complete paperwork neatly and legibly.
• Communicate effectively and accurately with leads, inventory control and Manager.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment using the correct tools properly.

The work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter in a normal warehouse environment with exposure to both heat and cold. The noise level is usually moderate.
