Job summary

The U.S. Secret Service is hiring for Uniformed Division Officers assigned to protect facilities and events associated with the President, Vice President, and foreign dignitaries. Successful candidates will relocate to Washington, DC and begin training after appointment.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, pass drug testing, hold a valid REAL ID driver’s license, and be at least 20 years old. A Top-Secret Clearance is required and a 2-year trial period applies.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Submit to drug testing.
• REAL ID compliant driver's license required.
• Must be at least 20 years old at application; referral up to 40th birthday.

Responsibilities

• Protect facilities and venues secured for U.S. Secret Service protectees.
• Provide security for White House complex, Vice President residence, and designated facilities.
• Enforce protective responsibilities as described under law; travel in support of official missions.
