Job summary

The U.S. Secret Service is hiring for the Uniformed Division to protect facilities and venues secured for the agency's protectees. This position requires relocation to Washington, DC and completion of training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and James J.

Rowley Training Center. Applicants must meet stringent requirements, including U.S. citizenship, valid driver's license, ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance, and a commitment to upholding the mission with honor and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must meet medical, fitness and background requirements including clearance.

Responsibilities

• Safeguarding the White House complex, the Vice President's residence, and other designated facilities.
• Providing security for foreign missions and embassies.
• Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
• Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
