Job summary

Alamon, Inc. is seeking a DC Power Technician Level 2 for its Network Services team. This role involves leading field deployments, installing DC power systems, batteries, and related hardware across customer sites nationwide, including Central Offices and data centers.

The position requires extensive travel, outdoor work in varied conditions, and the ability to read plans, follow standards, and coordinate high-risk activities. A high school diploma or GED and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test, and motor vehicle Records pull.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; travel required.
• Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally.
• Available for nights and weekends as project demands.
• DC Power (-48VDC) knowledge and hot cut experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in field deployments of DC power systems.
• Read and interpret plans, floor drawings, and work orders.
• Plan high-risk activities; map cables, fiber runs, and connections.
• Install DC power rectification, batteries, fuse panels, and related gear.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, and technicians on-site.
• Proficiently use MS Office/Google Drive for documentation.
